Three Reasons to Do a Boudoir Shoot!
Things I hear ALL the time “I’m too shy” “I need to reach my weight goal first” “It’s too expensive” “I don’t know how to pose” “I’m not a model” and unfortunately “I’m not pretty enough.”
Here is the truth!
Reason #! YOU ARE THE PERFECT SIZE!
Boudoir is truly a one size fits all and embracing everything you are right now in this moment. Your photographer will have a heart to heart with you about the things you love most about your body and the things that you struggle to accept and will definitely capture all of you in your glory. It is one of the absolute best things you can do to physically see the beauty that you hold and put that sizing matter behind you! OR use it as the ultimate way to track your journey. Either way you won’t regret it!
Reason #2 NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
When you look through some of these boudoir websites, www.sinboudoir.com, you may think I wish I could do that, YOU CAN! Those beautiful people in those pictures felt just as nervous, shy, and inexperienced as you feel right now. Boudoir does not require you to be knowledgeable about posing. If you want to look in the mirror and try some things out by all means have fun! But, just know you will be guided from head to toe during your shoot with ease!
Reason #3 TOO EXPENSIVE
All too often it is easier to justify spending money on everyone else, usually no matter the expense. If you had a close friend, relative, or partner that needed a boost in confidence. What if you knew someone who was struggling through depression, a loss, a sickness? Could they benefit to be pampered with hair and makeup, a few hours to play dress up, and listen to some good music? Could you justify getting a gift card for put money towards a shoot for their 30th or 60th birthday? Most of us would. DO THE SAME FOR YOU! This isn’t just some photos or an album. This is an experience that you deserve to have. This is usually 3 hours of your day where you are treated like the queen/king that you are. A great way to remind you that there is life outside of all your tired, your pain, and your responsibilities. Many photographers have a session fee or a minimum requirement to pay to hold your date. After that you have time to decide the day of what you would like to purchase and how much you will spend. Some photographers also have payment plans. Don’t be afraid to be honest about what you are willing to invest in yourself. You are worth every penny and there is someone out there for everyone!
